Owing to Millenium Project and Projekt " Parking Serwis Polska, users of paid parking zones will sigh with relief, because new software for moBILET - integrated platform of mobile payments, will be ready very soon. This solution gives possibility to pay for the real time of parking by the mobile phone. Specially designed by Millenium Project application can be used by every mobile phone’s owner with access to the Internet and Java technology. Owing to this software, payment for parking will be making directly and without delay, what means money and time saving.
16 –17 of May 2007, Szczecin University of Technology for the third time organizes e-commerce Conference. The main subjects are going to be such fields of e-business like modern marketing, trade, the newest technologies and security. This interview will take place in the program "Jostle mouse" (www.myszka.org) in Polish Radio Szczecin, this Monday 19th of March at 11:05 PM. Yesterday, 31st of January 2007, according to the schedule of funkcjonalnosc.net.pl project, the usability tests of Wielkopolska Job Centres websites with participation of users ended. Over 1000 persons participated in these tests. Millenium Project would like to thank everyone who took part in this research. The data from usability tests and opinions of those who participated in our study will make the results of funkcjonalnosc.net.pl project much more reliable. In March 2007 the conference with project results will take place in Poznan. It will be also possible to find the results on the project website.
We inform that since January Millenium Project has at disposal special equipment for research of usability of Internet services – equipment for eyetracking produced by the reputable company Tobii. These tools allow following and registration of eye-balls movement of computer users. Such following of the human sight allows more reliable usability test, because it shows to which elements people really pay attention, on which concrete point of screen they are looking at. Besides, this equipment does not differ from normal monitors, it acts without invasion, what makes test conditions very similar to the daily usage of computers. In connection with other techniques of usability tests, which have been used in Millenium Project, eyetracking equipemnt will allow this type of research to be more precise.
With pleasure we inform that by the end of December 2006 the section of Millenium Project which deals with the security of computerized information has been singled out, has gained its own website and since than exists with a new name Millenium Project Security (MPsec). It deals with security of corporate information in computer systems. In this field we have essential prepapartion, as well as expierence. Our employees, who worked in goverment administration and uniform departments, took part for example in military operations on Middle East, where information protection was particularly important. Experienced staff and owned certificates show the quality of our services. These certificates apply to teleinfomation programs and techniques and the information security itself. MPsec employees also track all changes and news related with security systems.
